Point Clare Primary School was delivered within budget and facilities included the construction of 10 new home-base classrooms, administration block, library and conversion of existing library/administration; removal of existing demountable classrooms; a new under cover COLA area under the library; landscaped areas incorporating children play area; outdoor free play area incorporating cricket nets and sand pit; kitchen garden area for stage 1-3 students and upgraded sports court area.

A key challenge of the project was to accommodate increased demand for primary school students in the zone while improving efficiency in workflow which was restricted by the existing department footprint.  NSW Public Works managed the design and delivery, risk management, tendering and procurement, contract administration, handover and commissioning of the project which successfully delivered a contemporary space that was embraced by the community.
